Staff users now have the ability to manually unlock a form assigned to a patient despite an incomplete module being associated to said form. This allows the patient to sign a form that was originally blocked by an incomplete module at a staff user’s discretion.
This stands to benefit workflows in scenarios where the signed consent needs to be collected STAT. Even though the patient would ideally have completed all of their video modules and this feature should not be enacted, our practices need to allow for this to avoid unreasonable delays to treatment.
Staff can currently click on assigned forms to see what modules are locking that form for the patient. By expanding the options under “Remind”, staff can now access an option to “Unblock and Send.” If a staff user makes this selection, they are shown a confirmation message to make sure this is the intended action. The information regarding who unblocked the form will show on right hand panel with details for that form.
